ALLIE KAELIN, M.A., AMFT, APCC
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #128572
Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #10475
The therapeutic relationship is the most significant component in therapy, and I strive to create a connection with you that will lead to success. My style includes highlighting your inner strengths, increasing your supportive environments, and improving your ability to regulate your emotions. My services provide adolescents and adults with an empathic environment to explore life stressors, mental health symptoms and relationship issues. My approach blends strength-based techniques and cognitive behavioral therapies, which focus on the present and making changes in the here and now. In doing so, I work to establish client goals and outline practical steps to achieve goals. Along the way, I guide clients through a self-exploration process to gain a deeper understanding of the self. Therapy can sometimes bring up difficult memories or emotions, but I provide a safe space to dive into these aspects of oneself.
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor working towards state licensure, I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Saint Mary’s College in 2021. My undergraduate studies focused on mental health, and I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Mary’s College. My experience includes counseling services for anxiety, depression, self-injurious behaviors, suicide prevention, crisis management, relational issues, academic stress, body image issues, grief, trauma work, major life transitions, and LGBTQ+ communities.
