Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a client-centered and evidence-based method for engaging clients in change exploration, overcoming reluctance or ambivalence to behavioral changes, and building momentum for goals. MI has proven effective in medical and behavioral healthcare for helping with a wide range of psychological and physical health issues including addictions, weight management, diabetes, hypertension, and medication adherence. This training is to provide clinicians with the core skills and four processes of MI, as well as an understanding about appropriate interventions within each of the stages of change.

- Identify one intervention within each stage
