CLINICAL SUPERVISION & INTERNSHIPS

My goal as a clinical supervisor is to provide an inspiring environment that encourages critical thought, professional growth, and business development. You will be trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFTI), Associate Social Worker (ASW), or Professional Clinical Counselor Intern (PCCI), to provide effective, ethical, and high-quality psychotherapeutic services in private practice. More information about BBS supervision policies can be found here: CAMFT - Commonly Asked Questions
Minimum Requirements:
* Masters degree in Psychology or Social Work
* BBS Registration Number
* Afternoon/Weekend availability for sessions and individual/group supervision
* Malpractice/Liability Insurance
In addition to 10 years of clinical expertise, I bring encouragement, creativity, and humor in working with supervisees. Interns develop the knowledge needed to maintain a successful and ethical private practice towards becoming independent practitioners, while learning to effectively manage countertransference. Interns are provided with office space, payroll services, marketing options, voicemail, and parking. Interns will learn to assess, screen, and schedule clients effectively, negotiate fees and sliding scales, maintain documents and files, process insurance claims, and manage legal, ethical, and clinical requirements and boundaries. Supervisees both generate clients and receive referrals for reduced-fee sessions.
