CONTINUING EDUCATION POLICIES
Up to 2 weeks prior to course date - Full Refund, 100%
1-2 weeks prior to course date - Partial Refund, 50%
Less than 1 week to course date - One-Time Credit to a Future Class
Administration Fee of $25.00 - Applied to All Cancellations
If a training is cancelled due to an unforeseen event (e.g., natural disaster, instructor illness), it will be rescheduled with a credit to a future date of the participant's choice. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, the registration fee will be refunded in full.
It is our policy to ensure balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor in all of its continuing education activities. We do not discriminate on the basis of gender, age, socioeconomic or ethnic background, sexual orientation, or disability.
Participants will be asked for written statements of grievances for any concerns about a speaker, our course content, or the style of presentation. Alamo Counseling will share comments with the speaker, assuring confidentiality of the grieved individual. If the grievance concerns a workshop offering, content, level of presentation, or the facilities, we will mediate to resolve the grievance by either: attempting to move participant to another workshop; providing a credit for a future workshop; or providing a partial or full refund of the workshop fee. All complaints and grievances will be given thorough consideration about any needs for improvement on our courses or systemic processes, and retained for five years in accordance with our record retention policy.
