I support you and your family with intake, consent forms, scheduling and confirming of sessions, or referrals as needed. I ensure clarity about our group practice policies and arrange superbills for those seeking out-of-network reimbursement. I approach all clients with empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to understand needs.

 

My journey in this field began with a certification in Addiction Studies and an internship in Addiction Counseling. At St. Mary's College, I earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology and was their lead residential counselor in a treatment program for adolescents with substance use disorders. That role advanced into the position of Milieu Trainer at a local nonprofit agency where I coordinated new counselor trainings, assisted agency directors with process issues, and found creative and innovative ways to improve Northern California programs.

 

My professional experiences have brought an immense amount of fulfillment,  reinforcing and strengthening my commitment to a career in mental health. I continue on this track at the Wright Institute towards a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology, to achieve my goal of becoming a licensed therapist.
