I believe that you can overcome life's adversities with the right tools and support. As a therapist for over 10 years, it has been an honor being able to hold sacred spaces for children, adults, and families to heal, thrive and restore a sense of joy in their lives. My goal in therapy is to create a safe and empathetic space where you feel heard and supported.

My background is in community mental health supporting at-risk youth and placement stabilization. I have also worked with children and families in a day treatment setting and in school based programs. I am passionate about equity in mental health and fostering culturally sensitive therapy practices. Although I am ethnically Chinese, I was born and raised in Mexico and later immigrated to the United States. As such, I have witnessed the pervasive needs in mental health across different cultures. I am fluent in Spanish and am happy to provide therapy sessions in Spanish whenever requested.

I use Play Therapy modalities to help children voice their needs, overcome trauma and manage their big emotions. I empower parents in their parenting journey by building their self care, parenting and coping methods. I also support adults through life's challenges and help them develop skills to manage mood disorders. My commitment to you is to remain curious and explore new pathways towards your therapy goals.
