

Prolonged Grief Disorder: Advanced Treatment

This training reviews the clinical features of Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD) along with the evolution and variances of grief diagnoses for DSM-5 and ICD-11. Differential diagnoses for PGD that are presented include adjustment disorder, major depressive disorder, PTSD, and comorbid substance abuse disorders in bereaved adults. The grief theories discussed include the Dual Process Model, Tonkin's Model, and the Tasks of Grieving Model, to provide practitioners with both didactic and experiential learning about current and outdated methodology.
