As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist working towards state licensure,  I hold a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from University of San Francisco along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Public Affairs from CSU Chico.

Prior to joining Alamo Counseling, I worked with individuals and couples in a variety of settings including private practice, public school, wellness centers, and outpatient substance-use treatment programs.

I work from a trauma-informed lens that primarily draws from Attachment and Relational theories, which helps to deepen awareness and understanding of how early experiences within the family system affect adult relationships. I also incorporate therapeutic tools from my trainings in CBT and DBT, which helps clients in emotional regulation, increasing mindfulness and resiliency, strengthening interpersonal communication, and effectively managing distress and anxiety.

I believe that the power of healing lies within a safe therapeutic relationship. I foster a trusting and supportive space where my clients feel seen, heard, and valued. My style is warm, genuine, humorous, insightful, and challenging when appropriate. I tailor sessions to meet the unique needs of each person I see, while encouraging openness and feedback about the process.
